Step 2: Live 1:1 video interview

Once we have reviewed your application, you will be invited to a short video interview via Microsoft Teams conducted by a member of our recruitment team. This interview will last for approximately 30 minutes. During the interview, we will ask you about your CV and further questions about the role, including some competency based questions. If you require any adjustments at any stage of the application process, please contact enquiries@ntpacademicmentors.co.uk

Step 3: Screening

If you are successful at the video interview stage, you'll be invited to join our portal where you'll be able to upload any evidence required, including qualification certificates, and you will be asked to complete a reference and Right to Work check for compliance purposes.

Step 4: Matching

You'll be matched to a school within a 1 hour commute of your home address to tutor the subject specialism of your choice. Before you start working, we'll arrange an introductory meeting between you and your new school.

Step 5: Training & placement

Congratulations! You’re now ready to start your new role. We’ll make sure that you are supported, both prior to starting your role and throughout your placement. You will complete an online training programme with Education Development Trust to give you the skills and knowledge you’ll need to succeed in your new role.

We look forward to hearing about the positive impact you are having in the classroom!
